Art History

A little while ago, my love of art history was rekindled. Bill was searching the internet for a particular painting with peasants. I offered up Peter Bruegel as a search suggestion and it was actually what he was looking for. I was pretty excited that I actually remembered the artist. That evening, I dug out my huge ap art history book and have been perusing it ever since. I really love this stuff! It's so fascinating and beautiful. Mother Wood instilled a love of the subject that I hope will live on always. I'm glad I found it again.

One evening, I was looking in the aforementioned book, and came upon this painting of Paul Revere by John Singleton Copley. Both Bill and I were amazed by the resemblance to a modern day funny man. Twins, just a couple hundred years apart!

Eerie, right?

Ms. Wood's class was the best class! Those two pictures together are crazy!

I did not know that you like art history. That's good to know.
Jack Black is my favorite comedian, and he really looks like the guy from the painting.
